Meeting
in Brussels (7th
December 2004)
|
On Wednesday 15th December, John and
daughter Rebecca will be flying to Brussels to attend a meeting with Willem Daelman of DG
SANCO (Directorate General for Health and Consumer Affairs).
Hopefully, they will bring home news of a European ally against this country's insistent
"gold plating" of European hygiene legislation which is having such a
crippling effect on our small abattoirs.
John and Rebecca would like to thank Willem for affording the time to
meet with them on Wednesday. The meeting was very positive and worthwhile,
and hopefully SAFe will be announcing some
good news for small abattoir owners early in the New Year.
