Help Gordon
Keep Butchers Alive (17th
August 2006)
|
According to Gordon Ramsey's Channel 4 F-Word
Web site "...75% of our meat is bought from supermarkets. Consequently,
butcher shops are closing across the UK - there are now less than 8000 local
butchers around the country. And it’s not just the shops we are losing, the
knowledge and skills of butchers is disappearing too."
To support Gordon's campaign - and help meat specialists such as ourselves -
please head over to the F-Word
Web site
for more information.
